Day 6 - stayed in a first class air b&b in Arras last night.
So far everywhere we’ve stayed has been up three flights of stairs !
On the road for 07.30 after a hearty home made breakfast of 7 weetabix, coke, cashew nuts, and leftover Domino’s.
First cafe stop in Cantay - coffee and one ( leg) of a twix as rationed by JR.
Off again and Big G had to do an emergency stop to pick up his haribos he dropped, 5 second rule still applies here.
A sobering thought as we passed numerous war graves of many nationalities - riding through rolling open countryside with no hedges and fences.
Stop in Amiens for lunch in a lovely looking city with cathedral etc
60 mile in and another stop for fuel - 2 foot long baguettes we’re the order of the day!!
On arrival at digs big yin said "I’m no hungry look at ma belly it’s going doon look it’s flat" he was lying on his back at the time. Apparently it's the the wee food rationing b****rd Ryland’s fault.
Guess what, the rooms at hotel are 3 flights up again.

Glad your legs are still holding up. Dominoes pizza for breakfast though? Don’t expect that when you’re back home !

It's great to see Twins Danny DiVito (Jim Ryland ) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (Eric McIntosh aka Hen Broon ) are dressed as twins should be to go out for a meal together so nobody can tell them apart ...keep the photos and reports coming what an experience
