Cullera-Fontanars dels Alforins()
Buffet breakfast at hotel on the road for 9.20am.
Flat straight roads for the first few miles. We stopped at garage for water and the wee attendant guy shouts 'Dundee united' !! Jimmy replies 'Glasgow Rangers' while wearing his SNP Scotland top.
More good roads to first coffee stop at 18 miles.
On again and a mixture of decent roads and Jimmy tours gravel. Garage stop for water and ice lolly and then on to lunch stop at 46 miles in Moixent.
An uneventful day with some rough roads and some good fast ones for the final 12 miles with the bonus of a wee climb to our destination of Fontanars.
Sorry for the report being a bit brief today but nobody slept much last night as we were thinking about what might have happend if Eric was still here and he and Big G met the 2 guys in dunes while wearing their sleeveless cycling tops - picture that if you dare!!
We're ready for our last big effort with 70 miles to The Indian restaurant at Los Montesinos tomorrow - our last day. [I bet everyone eats so much, in the first few days when the trip is over, that a handful of kilos of fat are added to each rider - guess it'll be like extra insulation ready to return to the cooler weather in Scotland].
For tomorrow there is no way Big G will wear his sleeveless top given how closely we'll pass by a prison and he could get dragged in and made to be someone's girlfriend.

Don't think they have any chamois cream left Del remember the two guys coming off the beach ............Your last journey on Friday will fly in with the excitement off finishing so take it in and have a wonderful evening when you pack up your bikes

bet you make the last stage in record time, with the indian restaurant in your sights! you guys love your churches and your chamois cream, and made a valiant attempt at breaking the land speed record when faced with two avid cycling fans (who were obviously going to get dressed! well done chaps. enjoy the last day, and the indian meal. regards.

If you stop at the Indian restaurant you will be 200 yards short of Jimmy's favourite pub in Monte. Tambalache the sunset bar.
