Long lie this morning with breakfast supplied at b&b and on the road for about 9.30am.

Short day today about 36 miles and fairly flat. First 17 miles follow follow follow the red concrete cycle path leading all the way to Valencia and down into the sunken gardens for our first drinks and ice lolly stop. Then a wee meander around sightseeing, taking photos and killing time prior to lunch.

Back to cheese and ham baguettes for lunch how exciting!

Off on our second half of our journey along seaside cycle path. Big G on the front when out from the dunes pop 2 naked men - just as well he wasn’t wearing his sleeveless top or he could have been in there.

Time to spare so a coffee stop and the first Bon Bon of the trip (see coffee photo).

On we go and we were passed by two local Spanish guys on road bikes so we quickly jumped on their wheels. As soon as they noticed we were there they put the pace up to try and drop the tourists but it didnae work !!! We enjoyed it that much we tried to drop them and missed our turn-off for tonights digs. Idiots!

Well our digs consit of a room with a bath and a shower in the middle of the room, beside the double bed, and with two single beds overlooking the shower. Cosy !! If only the two gentlemen from the beach could see us now. (see photo below - for the room layout not our antics).
