Limoges-Sarrazac()
Day 12
Limoges to Sarazac
Last nights air b&b in Limoges was billy basic
Out and on the road at 7 with a cold rainy start to the day
First stop at a nice wee boulangerie in Solignac for breakfast coffee and guess what ham and cheese baguettes the young lady was very helpful and spoke good English .
Off again along very rolling countryside with some very steep climbs - 10 climbs in all with a few unclassified ones in between. Hen broon was about greeting when one showed up as 22%????on his Garmin. He was going that hard his heart rate monitor broke down !
Cruising up a steep climb Tesla man asked Big G to put the music on to which he replied “ aye sure Jim wait till I finish my cigar “.
As usual most places closed and difficult to find anywhere to get lunch so we ended up buying stuff from a supermarket and eating it in their car park !! ( street food )
Onward again and more steep climbs with some cracking descents a few stops for some scenic photos finally arriving in Sarazac about 4
Nice hotel with a pool which we quickly made use of after a beer of course ????
Dinner beckons for the hungry tourers with lashings of red wine well deserved

the deserted towns and villages through daytime were something we never stopped wondering about on our tours around France with the caravan. always wondered where the people were hiding?
